Churches in Pointon and Sempringham Parish

Christchurch, Pointon

Christchurch, Pinfold Lane, Pointon

Christchurch is a Victorian "Mission Church" in the village of Pointon - built in 1893 to support the work of the Parish Church at Sempringham.

Furnished with modern upholstered chairs and electric heating, this "tin tabernacle" is multi-use and relevent to its community.

In 2012 we added a toilet extention and in 2016 we rebuilt the north aisle - also added a servery. Slightly unexpectantly, in 2017, we replaced the roof (some leaks have a way of forcing your hand). In 2019 we completed our renovations by taking down and rebuilding the complete south aisle - thus setting up Christchurch for many future decades of service.
